What this covers

This policy covers nigelbuilds.com, the public demo, the free AI Automation Audit, and the NigelBuilds managed business automation services NigelBuilds LLC provides to clients. NigelBuilds LLC is based in Germantown, Maryland.

Kinds of information

Client Content is information a client or its customers supply to or through a Business System, such as email messages, price sheets, SOPs and other reference material the client provides.

Service Data is the output and records a Business System produces for a client, such as drafts, summaries, reports and run results.

Configuration Data is the rules, templates, schedules, permissions and settings that define how a client's Business Systems behave.

Audit Data is the activity history of what a Business System did and when, including runs, drafts, approval decisions, mode changes and incident records.

What NigelBuilds collects

Only what is relevant to what you ask for. Depending on the service, that can include account and contact information, answers to the free audit, business process information, SOPs and reference materials you supply, Configuration Data, connected-service data that a configured Business System needs to do its job, Audit Data, billing and transaction metadata, and website analytics where your consent permits.

NigelBuilds asks you not to send medical records, health information, financial account credentials, passwords or government ID numbers through the audit or any normal service channel.

How information is used

NigelBuilds uses information to provide the Services, configure and operate Business Systems, generate drafts and reports, support and troubleshoot, secure its systems, maintain audit history, handle billing and administration, improve the workflows configured for that client, and comply with law.

NigelBuilds does not sell Client Content and does not use it for purposes unrelated to the client's Services.

Website and forms

When you send a message or start a Pilot, NigelBuilds receives the details you enter, such as your name, email, business name and message. They are used to reply to you and deliver the service you asked for. They are not sold.

NigelBuilds records first-party page views and key actions, such as starting the audit or clicking a booking link, in its own database. Optional third-party analytics and advertising tags load only if you accept the cookie banner, as described below. Analytics events do not include the text you type into the demo.

Free audit and Opportunity Map

The free AI Automation Audit asks how your work moves today, such as your business type, team size, tools and repetitive tasks. Your Opportunity Map shows on screen first. If you give an email address, NigelBuilds stores your answers with it and emails you your Opportunity Map. That delivery email is transactional. Please do not enter passwords, customer records, financial credentials, government ID numbers or health information in the audit.

If you call the NigelBuilds phone line, an AI voice agent may answer. The call may be recorded and transcribed so that NigelBuilds can take your details and prepare your audit. Do not share passwords, payment card numbers or medical information on the call.

Fit Check and booking

The Fit Check on nigelbuilds.com collects your business type, the systems you use, what takes up your week, your team size, name, business name, email and, if you give it, your phone. It is used to tell you whether the Pilot fits and to prepare the call. When you book a call through Cal.com, Cal.com receives your name, email and booking answers.

Attribution cookie

When you arrive from an ad or a link, the site stores the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), ad click IDs (fbclid, gclid), the referring page and the first page you landed on in a first-party cookie called nb_attr, and in your browser's local storage, for 90 days. It keeps the first and the most recent visit under a random ID. That ID is sent with your Fit Check, booking and purchase so NigelBuilds can see which ad led to a call or a Pilot.

Optional cookies, only with your consent

Nothing in this section loads unless you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Decline loads none of it. Your choice is kept for 180 days in a cookie called nb_consent.

Meta Pixel: measures visits and actions from Meta ads, using the _fbp and _fbc cookies. With your consent the same actions (page view, content view, Fit Check started or completed, demo engagement, lead, contact, checkout started) are also sent from NigelBuilds' server to Meta through the Meta Conversions API with the same event ID, so Meta counts each once. Email, phone and name are hashed (SHA-256) before they leave the server.

Google Analytics 4: page views and events.

Microsoft Clarity: session recordings, heatmaps, scroll depth, rage clicks and dead clicks. Form inputs are masked.

Bookings and purchases sent to Meta

When you book a call or pay for a Pilot, NigelBuilds' server tells Meta that a booking or purchase happened, with hashed contact details and the event ID, whether or not you accepted optional cookies. This is used only to measure which ads lead to customers.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the site and the API. Supabase stores leads, Fit Check and audit answers, bookings, purchases, waitlist requests, email logs and the workspace data for clients' Business Systems. Cloudflare runs the scheduler that triggers Business System runs. Stripe processes payments and receipts. Cal.com handles scheduling and reminders. Hostinger sends email. Third-party AI or model providers may process limited Client Content for some Business Systems, as described below. Meta, Google and Microsoft receive the data described above only when stated. NigelBuilds does not sell personal information.

Email

Transactional email is email you asked for or need to receive the service. It includes your Opportunity Map delivery, booking confirmations, Pilot onboarding and other service communications, and owner and account notices. NigelBuilds sends these without a marketing opt-in.

Marketing email is promotional. NigelBuilds does not currently send commercial follow-up sequences. If that changes, marketing email will go only to people who have given any consent the law requires, and each message will carry an unsubscribe link that stops them at once.

How long information is kept

Leads, Fit Check answers, bookings, waitlist requests, email logs and hashed ad event logs are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. Payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Clarity recordings follow Microsoft's retention setting.

Client Content, Service Data, Configuration Data and Audit Data are kept while the client is active. NigelBuilds has not published a fixed retention schedule for them. Retention periods are set in the client's written scope or in NigelBuilds' documented practices, and they depend on technical backup cycles, contractual obligations and applicable law.

Requested resources

When you ask for a sample report or another resource, NigelBuilds stores your email, the business type you picked and how you arrived at the site, and emails you the resource you asked for. That email is sent once. You are not added to any marketing list unless you opt in to updates, and you can unsubscribe from updates at any time.

The public demo

The demo is deterministic software that runs fixed rules on synthetic data for fictional businesses. Messages you send are processed by those rules to generate a reply and may be logged in limited form for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Do not enter real customer or personal information into the demo.

Payments

Pilot and plan payments are processed by Stripe. NigelBuilds does not see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Client business data

For clients, Business Systems access only the services and data the client connects and authorizes. Client data is kept in NigelBuilds' cloud systems, separated from other clients' data by workspace-level access controls, used only to provide that client's Services, and belongs to the client. NigelBuilds does not run a separate server or database for each client unless a dedicated deployment is separately scoped.

Sensitive information

NigelBuilds does not ask for medical records, protected health information, financial account credentials, passwords or government ID numbers through the audit or normal service channels. Protected health information is out of scope unless NigelBuilds separately agrees to it in writing, with whatever compliance documentation the law requires. NigelBuilds does not market any HIPAA capability.

Model providers

Some Business Systems may use third-party AI or model providers to process limited Client Content needed to perform the configured task. NigelBuilds uses business API accounts rather than consumer chat accounts for production services. The providers used for a client may vary by scope and are disclosed through service documentation or on request.

Client production work never runs on personal ChatGPT, Claude or other personal AI subscriptions.

Credentials and access

Connected-service credentials, OAuth tokens and API secrets are stored server-side using the production secret-management controls applicable to that connection and are not intentionally exposed in client-side code or application logs. Clients can revoke third-party access through the relevant provider where supported.

Pilot credit

The $1,500 Pilot fee is one-time and non-refundable. If you move from the Pilot to a plan at the current published pricing, it applies as a setup credit. The credit is valid for 12 months from your Pilot payment.

Cancellation

Plans are month to month and auto-renew through Stripe until canceled. Cancel with 30 days notice.

Offboarding and deletion

When a client leaves, NigelBuilds will reasonably assist with exporting service-generated information that is technically available and included in the client's scope. Credentials or access under NigelBuilds' control will be revoked or removed as appropriate. Service data will be retained or deleted according to NigelBuilds' documented retention practices, technical backup cycles, contractual obligations and applicable law. Backup copies may persist temporarily until normal backup rotation completes.

Your choices

You can ask what information NigelBuilds holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or opt out of contact, by emailing hello@nigelbuilds.com with the subject "Privacy request". A deletion request removes your lead, Fit Check, booking, waitlist, email log and ad event rows from the NigelBuilds database, and you get a reply when it is done. Payment records required for tax are kept as long as the law requires.
